Lynda Andrews is a teacher by profession & vocation. Originally training as a Drama Teacher back in 1978. She dedicated the first part of her adult life to bringing up a family. A most rewarding and inspiring career pathway. Alongside that she developed a number of business ideas that always incorporated her love of teaching and sparking joy in people.
In 2007 series of challenging life events meant that Lynda became very depressed, which led to her discovering Laughter Yoga. She trained as a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher in 2008 and found that she could combine her skills of teaching with sparking joy in one package. Since then, she has also developed her happiness skills by becoming a Happiness Coach with Dr Robert Holden in 2011.
Lynda has facilitated many Laughter Yoga sessions, seminars and training with individuals, community groups and organisations throughout New Zealand. Enabling people from all walks of life to incorporate the life changing benefits of practicing Laughter Yoga at home, out in the community and in the corporate world. The 2 day Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders Training with Lynda is available regularly in the Wellington Region and this training can also be done on site at your workplace or in your community group.
Laughing everyday has certainly increased Lynda’s creativity enabling her to publish “Harness The Power of your Laugh. Laughing Heartily Today and Everyday!” This book is a compendium of laughter exercises, entertaining photos and ideas to make sure everyone has the opportunity to bring more laughter into their life. The forward is written by Dr Kataria the founder of Laughter Yoga International. The book is available through Amazon.
In 2013 Lynda organised and hosted the 1st Laughter Yoga Conference in New Zealand. A successful event attracting international speakers and delegates. Lynda is now a Laughter Ambassador for Laughter Yoga International and continues her work creating pathways to sustainable health and happiness through laughter.
